LED Wiring overall

on the ERCF documentation, there is a page on how to wire the ledes individualy for APRON, but nowhere what length the cable towards the MCU should be, nor an explanation n how to wre leds for ERCT.. Would it please be possible to have a bit more detailed information on how to wire up these different LED configurations?
