I actually ran into this issue myself as well, trying to add the `note` field to a CSL style. `annote` works, but not `note`
Coincidentally (?) that aligns with https://developer.chrome.com/blog/css-color-mix/

Have you checked this in main / 0.10 preview, or only 0.9?
 It works with the ttf version of the font, but not the otf (The `init` feature is responsible for the fancy letters in your example)

Writing numbers without the leading zero is already rare enough, and putting them in denominators is even rarer. Complicating parsing just to accommodate this without parentheses doesn't seem worth it...
You would probably be better served by simply keeping your bibliography as bibtex instead of converting back and forth
