Crystalfarm dupe with Amethyst Golem

in FTB Team Properties > set "Block Edit Mode" to "privat"
Golems can not break the Crystal Cluster...but they drop shards on ground and get pickt up...it is superfast because the Crystals dont have to regrow.

Not quite a duplicate, I think. I had asked them to put this up here.
#601 is when Fake Players are disabled entirely. Here, they are enabled, but Block Edit Mode is set to Private. Slight nuance there, but I thought it was a detail worth documenting.

Am I right in thinking that the underlying cause is likely the same though - the golem not checking if it actually destroyed a block before spawning the drops?
