Tall plants from Simple Farming are harvested automatically without any reason

Tall plants from Simple Farming occasionally harvest itselves without a reason. This occurs on soils which attempt to speed up growth of plants (like Rich soil from Farmer's Delight or Fertilized farmland from Farming for Blockheads). I didn't notice this behavior on regular farmland (or it's very rare).

Also top part of tall plants glitches (becomes invisible) before one harvest itself:
