Crash on startup with Twitch? Try the GDLauncher or MultiMC
The Twitch App often fails when downloading and launching modpacks from Minecraft version 1.13+, if you're crashing on startup, please try using the GDLauncher before making an issue.
If the GDLauncher also crashes on startup, please do make an issue :) https://gdevs.io/
Fix option 2 (Credit @zamar037). This can also be resolved by manually updating the Minecraft launcher to version 1.6.93 which can be acquired here.
It just needs to go in the "/Minecraft/Install/Game" directory of where Twitch stores its files.

I'm currently having a problem that GD Launcher doesnt launch any modpacks at all, has anyone experienced that before? When I click launch a "play" symbol appears for a fraction of a second and then nothing happenes. No Crash, no log, nothing. If the fix is not easy I'm gonna open a GD devs issue.
Make sure you have Java 64bit installed.
You can find errors in GD launcher by clicking in the top left and opening the console tab.

You are using 32bit Java. You may have to point GD launcher at your 64bit java.exe by disabling autodetect and selecting the path.
Logout and back in if you are unable to access settings.
Looks like you have 32bit Java installed.
Ok thank you, I now get a different error https://pastebin.pl/view/005a138b and for some reason i dont have the java.exe in Program Data and instead in Program Files? Is this here the right java download https://www.java.com/en/download/windows-64bit.jsp

This page is your source to download or update your existing Java Runtime Environment (JRE, Java Runtime), also known as the Java plug-in (plugin), Java Virtual Machine (JVM, VM, and Java VM).
Looks like you have some duplicate mod files. Try repairing the instance or reinstalling.
Reinstalling seems to have worked, thanks for the help guys and sorry for the troubles
I had two different crashes for launching on twitch, the first one was solved by changing the mod path, according to another site I went to launchers past 1.12+ don't have encapsulation so if there are spaces in the path it will crash. i deleted a space and redirected the path, because it was still trying to connect to the path with a space. For example if my mod path was "C:\Twitch Minecraft" I would have to change the path to "C:\TwitchMinecraft". After this I could actually launch but then I would crash because of some Java gamepad issue. So I unplugged my gamepad and now i can play the pack. hopefully this will help some people out.
