Image, label, edge preparation

I have 7 pictures that I need to create segmentation for them. I put them in the image folder. but I dont know how to prepare the rest of files -> (labels,...). Please please let me know how to prepare my images. Thank you

@Engineering-Course @Utkarsh-Utsav is there a reason why matlab is used for these scripts considering the rest of the codebase is in Python? I've tried porting them to Python but I seem to get different results
