Nametag to rename a villager inside a protection

A nametag can be used to rename villagers inside a protection. I've tried it with a chicken and it says that I can't do that, but I've tried also with a villager and I was able to rename the villager.

yea villagers are whitelisted for interaction because of trading or something in the past i think... while it would be really easy to just revert, i'm not sure if that's the correct behavior to change.

Yea, it is a minor problem... but as you know, players just doing stupid things like that to annoy other players...
