Update //flora for 1.21.5 Spring Drop

Open DereC4 opened this issue 6 months ago • 3 comments

The Problem

Spring Drop (1.21.5) added many new ambient natural grasses and bushes to worldgen which is really cool, and I would love to keep //flora up to date by adding said blocks to its generation.

A Solution

Add the new blocks to //flora generation and checks depending on biome type

Such as firefly bushes, bush (the block), dry grass, etc

Alternatives

No response

Anything Else?

Given this kind of thing can now be achieved by the feature command and brush, there's less of a need to add specific hard coding in for commands like this tbh. The flora command is always going to be less accurate than MC generators, and won't support mods. Makes more sense to push people to the better alternatives
