very impressive app needs more work in favorite UI and download also in Comments I think you should use firebase auth to sign up or sign in.

**** where to put pdf book, can you make it's with firebase. add pdf url in firebase and parse in this app ?? and can you change this project to java too. it's in kotlin ???
