Profile the code in a standard execution to identify bottlenecks

Profiling of the code will be done with the current examples to identify bottlenecks in the execution and those parts of the code that could be improved in the future.

The output of completing this issue would be a list of issues identifying those areas that need improvement from the performance perspective.
