• Your Issue Detail: these are phishing websites that claim to offer a free and easy method to jailbreak iOS/iPadOS devices, even if a certain device model or OS version is currently not supported by any jailbreak. They exploit users' lack of understanding of the jailbreak process and excitement for the new OS version to show them shady ads and collect their data, sometimes even incentivizing users to download and install crappy software on their device, describing it as a “necessary step”. Some of them are trying (often very convincingly) to directly impersonate widely known and legitimate projects.
