Combat location chat requires a refresh
- Find a mob
- Refresh page needed to use local chat (why?)
- Write something in local chat while in battle
- Use other alts to find the mob above
- Find the previously encountered mob
- Combat location chat will not show anything previously written by another char until a page refresh
This bug makes finding dead alts a lot harder since one has to refresh every time an old combat site is found, in order to check if it's the right one. It would be nice if this could be fixed or better, if combat sites with dead bodies had generally higher chances to be found upon E exploration.
another issue with location chat, if using the multi-tab, the "parent" tab is the tab that's considered when writing in location chat. For example
Patches is in Aera vending. He is parent tab. I open up a 2nd tab for OHY to look for prots. He is in Mountain Plains.
OHY finds a prot. I go to talk in location chat to claim the Prot. However, nothing appears.
Instead, the "claim" will appear in Aera, where Patches is, because he is the parent tab.
This is incredibly annoying when trying to utilize location chat, and makes clamiing bosses very aggravating an inconsistent
