Is there anything I can do further to debug this? Just run into it again today (and several times since my last post) and it's really hard to see why...

Right this is happening to me _right now_ and this is what I've found out. I had two terminals open, one `mosh`ing into a server and one I was using...

I've just had this happen again and have some more info to add, I _believe_ it's a Cygwin issue, but I'm still not sure if mintty could help mitigate it...

No solution for me so far, it's all over stackoverflow too. Vscode triggers this often as it spawns conhost processes which interfere with Cygwin for some reason. I'm still not...

I can backspace fine over a double width such as `は`, is it some kind of broken mapping where the shell hasn't been updated to understand emojis?
