Any chance you could make a guide for Virtual Desktop, too?
@nights321 Maybe, but not now. I am working on a non VR project for the moment. I need to work on this topic for June. So I can look at it in one month. If it is not too late for you.
In my memory that was not more difficult. Some thing like:
- Check that Steam/SteamVR is installed
- Check that you use 2018.3+ of Unity
- Set the project Unity for Steam VR or OpenVR
- Install virtual desktop on the Quest and the PC.
- Launch & Connect them on the same Wifi
@nights321 ALVR is not working for you ? Did you try Oculus Link (if you don't need the hands and don't need to be wireless) ?
Sure, if you manage to get it to work i would be interested to hear. VD has been much better so far. Oculus Link works fine in Unity but its tethered, wireless is a lot more fun :)
