@networkfusion I would argue that warning the user is not the job of nanoFramework extension. I would rather recommend the use of credentials scanners that are available as Visual Studio...
This should be fixed in a coming release. See https://github.com/Ellerbach/docfx-companion-tools/tree/doclinkchecker-upgrade You can build and test it to check if it now works better. Please report back if possible.

if you remove the -i option, you should have the behavior you need if I remember correctly!
