Hey,

Unfortunately, i cannot do that due license issues. However, you can dump this application from your MCC by using the tutorial.

Hi guys, Actually I'm also looking for this MC2 app :) Having it published somewhere would be really nice as I also want to explore it further. I hope the user base of MCC will grow and maybe some day we'll have an alternative software for it :) If it's just an Android app then it shouldn't be difficult to make one

Cheers

To update version, device downloads file versions.txt from update server and checks if new version available. You can do the same things ;)

$ wget https://mc20.monsieur-cuisine.com/666a60bc-0ce2-4878-9e3b-23ba3ceaba5a/versions.txt

List available versions:

$ cat versions.txt

will output something like this:

MCLauncher-release-1.1.16-208.apk
MCLauncher-release-1.1.17-226.apk

Now download required apk:

wget https://mc20.monsieur-cuisine.com/666a60bc-0ce2-4878-9e3b-23ba3ceaba5a/MCLauncher-release-1.1.17-226.apk

Hello how to install this new version Thank you

bobstar-fr avatar May 12 '20 18:05 bobstar-fr

It will be installed automatically if device connected to internet. Otherwise you have to follow instructions from this repository to enable ADB and install new version from command line:

$ adb install MCLauncher-release-1.1.17-226.apk

How can i install this on a mobile device?

I'm not sure, if it will work on mobile device. apk has special kernel module for serial interface for arm and x86 platforms. Additionally MCLauncher(main apk) requires tgifota.apk and MCUpdater.apk. But biggest problem is that MCLauncher requires system permissions, this means android image MUST be signed with the same key as MCLauncher.

Hm... This is strange. Do you have same versions like here? I can only advice you ask google for this problem, or connect device to internet and checks for updates.

Hello No I don't have the same version (see picture). I searched on Google and found nothing usable for my MCC. I did not manage to deactivate the recovery check with "rm /system/recovery-from-boot.p" . The MCC tells me "file not found" and it's true... I went to check in /system and the whole tree structure. I could not install the Launcher and the gapps or other App. with the error: $ adb install results in "/ sbin / sh: pm: not found" On the other hand I modified the build.prop well (MCC is rooted), and I manage to load with ADB commands the file "Recipes" to modify it on PC and reinject it in the MCC. It was my main goal to be able to scrub the "Recipes" file to be able to modify and reinject it. I do this:

  • I install recovery.img (TWRP) in the MCC boot with SP Flash Tool.
  • I recover the "Recipes" file either with ADB to the PC or with the TWRP files explorer in /sdcard
  • I modify or i add my personal recipes on PC (with DB Browser SQLite + Excel file with macro)
  • I reinject the modified "Recipes" in the MCC
  • I reinstall the boot.img in the boot with SP Flash Tool or with the TWRP Install function (I left in /sdcard of the MCC the recovery.img (TWRP) and boot.img (original) files).
  • The MCC reboot normaly ...
  • The recipes update well as well as the MCC application ver 1.1.17 buil 226

See "Youtube" or play "Doom" on the MCC does not interest me.

Hello, New version : 1.1.20 build 246

bobstar-fr avatar Oct 20 '20 06:10 bobstar-fr

Hello. I see that not only I have been fighting with rm / system ... reckvery-from-boot .... My MMC also does not want to allow installation of the application. After 7 attempts, I already showed the initial androidOS settings, but after the wifi user went to unlock the screen with a pin ... the normal MMC screen was loaded and nothing could be done. and so 5 times in each possible configuration with wipe cleaning in TWERP ... I already lack the strength. I have a broken screen and I used the second broken screen because it has a touch ... 4 days of getting tired ... ehhh

Sorry for my english.

now I'm looking for how to connect a bluetooth mouse via ADB ... but also slim chance ...
