STICK_UNDEADZONE_INNER not working?
I am a complete begginer using this program so I apologise if the issue is mine, but I have read the guide and tried multiple commands and values and nothing seems to make a difference.
DS4Windows has a very nice option called 'Antideadzone'; useful when the default game's stick deadzone is too large. I believe a similar command is available for JoyShockMapper, which is STICK_UNDEADZONE_INNER/OUTER. I am currently playing Max Payne 3 using a hybrid mode of virtual controller with gyro when aiming down sights. The gyro is working perfectly, but when firing from the hips or just looking around using the right stick as a right stick (and not a flick stick), I have to move the right joystick A LOT for the camera to move. I set the RIGHT_STICK_DEADZONE_INNER to 0 and LEFT_STICK_UNDEADZONE_INNER to 1 but that didn't work as expected. I tried with Max Payne 3 and GTA V and the games will register input, making the character move without the joystick being touched. However, once you move the joystick, the deadzone is still there! You still have to move the joystick the same distance for it to register movement in all other directions.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there is a different command that I should be using, or maybe it is that JoyShockMapper not doesn't have this Antideadzone feature implemented yet?
Cheers,
