End-of-life notice

Hi there,

Thanks so much for following and using this project, which I started over 7 years ago. Unfortunately, Mojang has made various changes over the years to its IP allowlists and rate-limit rules that make this project expensive and too error-prone to operate.

Unfortunately, I will be turning off the API on June 23rd 2025.

The following APIs will not longer be reachable:

• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v2/user/<username|uuid>
• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v2/uuid/<username>
• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v2/avatar/<username|uuid>
• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v1/user/<username|uuid>
• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v1/uuid/<username>
• https://api.ashcon.app/mojang/v2/avatar/<username|uuid>

Apologies for the inconvenience, but this project is not financially feasible to continue to operate.
