Unknown Spells not writing to wand in Arcane Workbench

Observed behaviour

I added new unknown books to the Arcane Workbench with my wand. The spells seemed to overwrite the ones I had previously learned, clicked the upgrade button, seems to have worked - all the new spell books are listed. I remove the wand from the table back into my inventory and all the old spells that had been seemingly overwritten with the unknown spells, appear again as if I'd done nothing at all.

Expected behaviour

The new unknown spells should be added to the wand and the old ones removed.

Steps to reproduce

1. joined our private server, Cruor
2. placed wand in Arcane Workbench
3. add 5 new, unknown spellbooks
4. click the checkmark button at the bottom right
5. remove wand
