Game refuses to start after setting some non-standard resolutions

Although some non-standard resolutions do allow the game to continue to work after a game restart. Resolutions that have made the game not start that I've tried include...

  • 800x450
  • 705x396
  • 672x378
  • 640x480
  • 640x360

After setting the resolution while in game there seems to be no issue but after quitting and attempting to restart results in the game not starting at all. No error message. Just seemingly some loading then nothing.
