Adding buddies

Version: 1.4 I added a buddy through Pidgin and sent a message, but she didn't receive it. Later on, I opened Skype to find out no request was sent to her, so I had to add her again.

I have found that I cannot add buddies in Pidgin. I have to login to SkypeWeb to add buddies.

I confirm this is the case. I get notifications about buddies but can't add them, I can't deny them either.

Would like to confirm. I don't know when this started, but I got two authorization contact requests this year and whatever I click (deny, authorize, instant message) on next connect to the Skype network I get the request again. And each time I authorize I'm offered to add to the buddy list again. Only a login to SkypeWeb and accepting it there stops this. There must be some incompatibility with the Skype Web service in the area of adding contacts. I'm not sure but I think it used to work, maybe last year. This problem is different from what the first poster reports, but it's the same as poster 2 and 3 report. Shall I open a new bug?

If you do start a new bug, please post here, I would like to contribute or follow this issue. It is annoying to have to log in to a different Skype client to manage buddies.
