Retrieve conversation logs and inject into logs

It would be great if old conversations could be injected into logs (if they are not there already).

There is a feature in skype, that if you click on 'Show messages from begining' it retrieve the entire history from server, it would be great if that history could be injected into the pidgin log (not the current message window).

Well, if somebody at least could tell how skypeweb pulls old history, I might even consider trying it. But as of now, I don't know how to do it. And I would really like to!
