skypeweb: lost messages in conversation
When people write a lot in a conversation while I'm offline, I don't get all messages after logging in. It seems to only contain the last 30 messages.
It's probably the same in the official web client, but there you can scroll back to view all messages. In pidgin there is nothing in the history and the messages are completly lost.
Experiencing the same. In fact, I don't get any message history - an issue I'm trying to look for specifically if it has been raised - which is rendering this plugin useless for me at the moment.
I need to test this limitation more: indeed it is something I am wondering how pidgin handles, but agreed that it would be essential, as I am often interacting with others many timezones away so I need to get the messages they sent to me overnight when my machine is sleeping.
