Non-emoji combos render as smileys

Emojis are rendered correctly; but combinations of letters that you would use to enter an emoji are rendered (incorrectly) as emoji. For instance, Edited: blah blah blah (generated when someone alters a post) is rendered: Edite☺️ blah blah blah

As far as I know, d: isn't a smiley at all
