I don't think it is possible to synchronize two internet radios.
And what would you do after the playing the URL?
That's a good solution. You may also change the software for a unlimited time-out on no data.
You may try to comment out line 180: `// ini_block.newpreset++ ; // Yes, try next channel` (untested)
I have uploaded the sketch in binary format to the bin directory.
Show the logging at the serial port.
All those VS1053 errors shows that there is a (wiring) problem withe the SPI bus.
Wiring looks good. Check if the chip on the MP3 board is really an VS1053. Check if the reset pin of the VS1053 board is high. It should also work...
I think any display will do. But since only a few functions are used, it will not be too difficult to implement a different display.
If the wifi-connection fails, the ESP will reset after some time.
