Maybe you could give me some pointers and I try. Although I didn't do that kind of stuff for the past couple of years - so that may take some time; but with a little guidance I'd give it a spin. Atm. I have no clues, which parts of the code in Calendar.m is iOS-specfic and which is re-useable...

Any hint?

I have no clue either. Never created something platform-specific for macOS. But perhaps others know.. maybe open an issue on StackOverflow and link to this issue.
