Connection not secure - `http` not `https`

As seen in the below screenshot, the connection is not https, but it is http. This shows it is not secure. Thank you.

as per my information for HTTPS we need to buy an SSL certificate. The main domain has an SSL certificate but a subdomain does not. that's why link free and event calendar both show that security warning.
