Am getting "Safari detected an app or service that interfered with clicking" when trying to install

After installing the app, Safari won't allow it to be activated, see screenshot. Using Version 14.0 on MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2021).

According to Apple, this message shows when something already on your mac is interfering with clicks, not search key itself. It probably doesn't let any new safari extension be enabled.

Nope. just installed the Wayback Machine add-on with no problems.

Huh. Well AFAICT this is external to search key, which in any case has no input related code, just built in OSX GUI stuff. I just tested and search key reinstalled fine. I did get the warning for Wipr once, but then it worked a second time.
