My Question Is it possible to takeover subdomain with GitHub which is not from GitHub pointed domain?

POC - I add one custom subdomain(let's say dom.example.com) to my GitHub page which is not from Github hosted Pages but i successfully added this to my custom domain, but i cannot able to reflect my pages to that subdomain), i really don't know what is going on.

is that domain is vulnerable ?
