Wrong EE update command for macOS

Currently I am running EE v4.0.1 on macOS. While I am creating new site I am getting following error.

Error: It seems you are not running latest version. Update EasyEngine using ee cli update --stable --yes.

ee cli update --stable --yes This command is for Linux. I think it should be brew upgrade easyengine for macOS.
