diffraction support?

I read the two referenced papers on EVERTims homepage. It seems currently diffraction is not supported. I was wondering if there is any plan on diffraction handling?

Not for short term, as it involves some further reflections on how to implement them (requiring hybride image source approach). Any idea is welcome though
