Role class for Dataset Authors not being harvested for Dataset Search Tool

Schema.org documentation on use of Role (http://blog.schema.org/2014/06/introducing-role.html) is not honored by the the Google Dataset Search Tool

Question: Should we alter guidance documents to ignore the Role class?

Oh, this is tricky. If you didn't use the Role pattern w/ BCO-DMO, would you have a place to put the information (in that above example) that the person is a Co-PI?

no, which is a huge bummer that the harvester isn't honoring the documentation. I've been reviewing how other sites like NCEI are showing up in the search tool, to find out what's is being picked up and how.
