Background page not resumed when sending clip

Describe the bug It seem, that the connection or background page is unloaded. Selecting a text and clipping it, does not work. Opening the settings page is enough that after closing the sending works as intended.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to "send does not work"
  2. go to settings page and see it connect
  3. The text should still be selected. Pressing the send button again will delete the selection and success

Expected behavior Should work at the first try

  • Browser firefox
  • Version 119

I found out, it happens only on firefox regularly. What I see is that the top icon overlay stays on after page has loaded. When I click the button and the overlay was loaded, the send to copilot works. I have plugin like tab-tree and some others installed. BTW: I love your extension, just awesome

I am planning add notifaction if clip page or clip content action not successed.
