White screen on first install

Multiple Android 7.x users are reporting a white screen after first installing the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.eff.actioncenter&hl=en

I can trigger a white screen after the first swipe by changing my language settings to something non-US.

Interesting! iirc I did test some other languages like es-US but perhaps that wasn't enough...
