Summary Statistics page - error / loading issues

We have had a user request to look into the summary statistics page loading issues, namely:

• "Over the past few weeks, I have frequently experienced crashes or errors when attempting to access or navigate through the Summary Statistics section."
• "I have tried accessing the section at different times and using various devices and browsers, but the problem persists."

I have also managed to recreate an error loading the published summary statistics table (in Firefox):
