Make Template compatible with LuaLaTeX

It would be great if the template also works with LuaLaTeX. LaTeX quite quickly runs out of memory if you plot your figures directly in LaTeX, and there are other reasons as well to choose LuaLaTeX over LaTeX.

There is usually not much that needs to be changed to make a documents compatible with both. Normally this is only the input and/or font encodings as well as the font selection, the rest usually works fine without any changes. It is also possible to conditionally load the correct packages. I will see if I can include this.
