A whole new GUI that shows the list of the mods that is supported with mods with updates towards the top and the rest at the bottom kinda like the attached document (which is very rough and could use some improvement).

I support this. Very handy to be able to tell at a glance which of your installed mods are supported by Version Checker, rather than only when they need an update.

Yea, this is hard, as mods only send a message to Version Checker when they are outdated. So I don't actually know if a mod supports Version Checker. I can display mods that can be tracked with NEI though.

Mods that send a URL to a JSON file always send an IMC.

Well, yes, but most mods just send the info directly.

Maybe you could just implement it for mods which do send an IMC (like mine :P) and specify in your documentation that this is the case.

I would have thought 99% of the modders would send an IMC with a URL rather than giving you the information directly...

Smaller mods tend to not have a system in place yet (and use Version Checkers one), but larger (well known) mods usually have their own version checking system. I don't want to confuse people by not showing the mods that send info directly in the checked list.

I'm not sure what would be the best way to communicate this issue to users and feel like the best thing to do is to only show the checked info for NEM.
