Extension config support

I tried the experimental NEW_CLI today to perform a download configuration. Works nice to have a first starting point. I was specifically interested in what the extensions config looked like. But to my surpise it describes what's already in a plugin.json file and not the specific config for the extension instances.

Is that something which is on the roadmap? I think it would be very usefull to include that in the API and in monaco.

Supporting configuration of the extensions 2.0 API is on our internal roadmap, but at this point we sadly can't give you an ETA.
