Publish or Update Packages directly from Sandbox
Hi, according to the docs there is no way to publish packages directly from sandbox (https://primer.dynamobim.org/11_Packages/11-4_Publishing.html) and I was wondering why is that? I'm asking for this because I'd still like to maintain the packages I published some time ago, eg. Dynamo for Rebar or SkechUp for Dynamo, but I do not have a Revit License because I'm not working in the AEC sector anymore. And for SkechUp for Dynamo I wouldn't need Revit to test and maintain it. Is there a particular reason why publishing is not available using the Sandbox?
Dynamo version
2.0.1 (but potentially about any version)
Operating system

Hi @moethu 👋 ... I think this belongs in core, but the git robots have more patience than me. 🤦♂️
I think there are a few reasons currently.
- Technically, because publishing requires authentication via Autodesk components, which are only available in ADSK products currently.
- There are other security/storage implications for allowing publishing of packages via sandbox only.
I think there will be improvements to this space in the future, though it may still require some ADSK account and license.
I think your use case is a valid one of course, and we'll need to consider if it can be supported. fyi @Amoursol
fyi2 :@QilongTang is there some label we can add to stop the github actions bots from re-executing on specific issues?
Great to hear from you @mjkkirschner , I hope you are doing fine. The requirement of an ADSK account makes sense to me. For now I decided to go for the Revit 2022 Trial install.
