@DylanVann The repo is highly popular but doesn't seem to be regularly maintained. Would you be open to maybe opening an issue to recruit and officially add maintainers? There are a couple issues here where people are offering to maintain the library plus once that issue is open I would also be able to submit this repo to https://github.com/pickhardt/maintainers-wanted
As the repo stands, there are more open issues than closed ones including many from 2+ years ago
This is pretty important - this library has been used by thousands of people. It going out of support is going to cause a lot of issues @DylanVann.
If the repository owner does not get in touch, maybe make a copy of it and maintain it?
If anyone knows any former maintainers or knows how to get in contact with @DylanVann that would be amazing. I don't actually use fast-image in any of my projects (mainly because of maintenance) but I stumbled upon it multiple times and seems like it would be an important project to keep updated

How do we know if a maintainer is dead or still alive? Hope he just not responding :(
@DylanVann just published updates to the package so he'll probably get to this eventually. He's probably just swamped with issues rn. @Rag0n If DylanVann replies to this maybe you can try merging those changes here

An update on the status of this library would be greatly appreciated. The library is still largely used and it's fair to supposed that this has just become too much to work for a single person. Please open up the repository to additional, trusted, maintainers so that it can continue to live.
