Make 4454⌶ work in Ride

4454⌶ allows me to pre-populate the "Search for" field in the ODE from within Fire.

It would be nice to be able to do the same when Fire runs under Ride.

Huh? An undocumented feature and you want it in RIDE as well :)

Sorry but I really do not think this is a good idea. With RIDE we are trying to get away from the idea that APL can drive the IDE. Adding this feature would give the wrong idea and set a bad precedent.

That might well be a valid point from your prespective.

From a user's perspective the feature makes perfect sense, and its absence is simply annoying.

I'm with Jay on this. I can see why you would like that from a tool developer's point of view, but a RIDE user would certainly not need or expect it.
