I think this should be further analyses or researched at the JavaScript adapter, as you are able to control wled by the states in admin the adapter is working question...

as we have no follow up here an I still think its related to javascript engine, I will close for now :)

I cannot give a clear date yet, there are 2 connection issue which occurs randomly I want to be fixed before calling the release "stable"

No that's not possible as the esphome native api does not support it. Waiting for an combined solution between api & mqtt development is in progress at esphome for this

please install latest version from git, we update the complete way how dashboard is integrated by other python solution which should solve this issue
