impossible for me to join any server and singleplayer world on jex

everytime i try joining a singleplayer world on jex it loads it to 100% but then crashes the game and if i join any server it will crash the game

I already looked into the other issues and I saw the same problem but I dont have Sodium, I only have Fabric API and Jex client. I'm using MultiMC

Under Options > Jex Options > Personal Cosmetics, when you select a gif for the cape, you are no longer able to select a different image while in the menu.
