Sounds like a nice feature, I'd suggest taking a look at https://github.com/esnet/gdg in mean time, I heard they have implemented that pattern quite well.

Running CI... I do not see a big problem in this but Crossplane pushes the boundaries quite a bit. We might want to look at different solutions in the mid-term....

I've made a commit that generates that list, isn't flexible enough yet to support multiple versions but it's a start.

@grafana/identity-squad Is this a reasonable change? Should we move forward with this for issue #1750 ?

We have observed this behavior again in later version, specifically when upgrading from v0.28.0 to v0.30.0 on Dashboards. Some of these issues seem to be solved by upgrading crossplane-tools in...

It's in https://github.com/grafana/jsonnet-libs/blob/master/prometheus/ but the code I'm calling goes through a few more layers. I'll try to come up with something reproducible when I find the time.

Can you try 3.9? We often update URLs in the provider to avoid unnecessary redirects.
