I don't think its solved; it is a work around for something which would be better solved by xbps itself. What I don't like about this proposed change in particular...
I always wanted `xbps-rindex` to open all repositories and to make i.e. the staging code aware of relations between different repositories, which currently still results in problems that the staging...
This would help a lot with quickly clean specific packages from the repositories while `xbps-rindex` is not aware of all repositories so we don't have to do the registering noarch...
Could also add `--fulldeptree` to match `xbps-query`, but not sure how useful this is, not sure if there is a real usecase for it tho.
Is there anything void specific to document? Otherwise I don't really see the need to document how to use the podman command.
I don't see how this could not work other than you editing the wrong or overwriting the file when doing the installation.
Which `rc.conf`?

Its kinda hard, this is how we basically allow "fallback" servers and simplify the repository list in `xbps-src` by just providing all possible repository paths and even if the repository...
There is definitively room for improvement, but its not as simple as propagating the errors and exiting.
