Cannot generate particles using .stl file

I created a sphere using SolidWorks and exported it as an .stl file. The diameter of the sphere is 1000 mm. When importing this file into DesignSPHysics, I set the scale factor to 0.001. The particle diameter (dp) is 0.01 m. As shown in the figure, the gencase is currently running but is unable to complete.
