[Feature Request] Minimal Android TV support
problem:
I can't find droidify in my android TV launcher, I have to go through aurora droid to use it...
solution :
add at least making the app visible in an android TV launcher.
as a bonus, optimize the interface for it but it's already usable
How do you use it? I am unable to change any setting or select an app to install on my Firetv Stick 4k.
@fliegentoeter Android TV runs on a Freebox Pop (the modem of an internet service provider in French) This box has a usb port, I put the apk of aurora store, which is considered as a TV app and therefore visible in my launcher.
Thanks to this app, I could install NewPipe, also visible in the launcher.
And Droidify, which has a more practical UI than aurora on a TV, but not visible in the launcher.
Strange, on my firetv Droidify is visible in my launcher but unusable as an app. I just sideloadedmy apks with simpleftp and would be more than happy if droidify would work and I could install updates that way instead of sideloading apks all the time.

Native Launcher : Android TV Launcher (Google LLC) It has probably been forked to have a distributor overlay
I cannot find any reasons why it wouldn't show, let me provide you with the most generic answer Have you tried reinstalling?
I still can't find the issue. Maybe your TV need to pin/bookmark an app to show it in apps list, I don't own a Android TV so I cannot test this sorry.

seems like when using dpad devices (ps4 controller in my case), the UI is mostly navigatable.
it does get hung up, the two areas so far I have found are
Main screen: Application filter, cant go below Main Screen: Top bar, cannot select search, sort, refresh. settings
App info screen: gets stuck on description.
Im not too sure how it works, but maybe something with focus is not being set?
