new/navigated tabs are often not highlighted in Simple Tab Groups

It seems that whatever tab is active in the window should always be highlighted in the Simple Tab Groups sidebar.

However, often the creation of a new tab (or a tab navigated to using something other than STG) will result in no tabs being highlighted in the Simple Tab Groups sidebar.

In these cases, because nothing is highlighted in the STG sidebar, it is difficult to locate which tab is actually active, especially when there are numerous tabs in the Tab Group.

Confirmed this behaviour. Please make sure the active tab is always highlighted in the sidebar. Is this the same as #745?

Still an issue ... related to #745 highlight of active tab gets lost in so many occasions ... and its really annoying
