Dropdown for groups in sidebar

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. No real problem- just inconvenience. Currently in the docked sidebar (used for bookmarks, synced tabs, STG, etc.) you can click on a group to change to it or click the "> #/#" on that row to open the group and its tabs. It will then redraw the whole sidebar and only allow you to see that group's tabs.

Describe the solution you'd like I am proposing a dropdown instead of going to a new dedicated section (or at least the option for one.) You could click on the "> #/#" part of a group and it would simply open a dropdown to reveal all tabs in that group. This would alleviate going back and forth. It also would allow you to immediately switch to a different/new group as the other groups would still be visible.

Describe alternatives you've considered None other than using a different extension.

Additional context Not much more add. Would be nice to have and a bit more functional I think.

Fully agree with the premise to simplify using the sidebar. My preferred solution would be to show a narrow vertical bar on (selectable left or right) side of sidebar, which lists only the icons of the groups vertically, while the main content of the sidebar would list the tabs in the currently selected group. This way, one can still instantly switch to a different group, while still having the tabs always visible. This is similar to how Sidebery shows them (when vertical navigation is selected).
