Something weird with the touch layer behavior maybe.... but can't move the hud on small screens like ipads/tablets, drag point won't work. also can't expand menus back up once down. Touchvtt installed and otherwise working.

Hi @bushibot, what version of Token Action HUD are you using?

In theory, with the Enable Dragging setting ticked, you should be able to drag on any of the top level buttons to move the HUD, though I've not been able to test on tablets.

3.0.16 I'll try to get a screen capture or something.

Added touch support in release 3.0.17. Tested as working using touch emulation, so please let me know if anything doesn't quite work.

.17 partial fix. Working much better on iPad. Android is a crap shoot (but seems to have other issues too, possible overlap). Ms surface won’t work at all except sporadically.

It should be mostly about the browser. What versions are you using on each device?

Current chrome

If you haven't already, can you just try disabling all other modules, including Touch VTT, and test again. I've tested Android, iPad and Surface devices using these emulations in Google Chrome and they all seem to be working okay:

Fair enough, I’ll do that tonight.

No Luck on the surface 8. I have everything disabled except action hud. I can occasionally get to kinda jump, nuts that’s it. On the plus side iPad seems solid now.! https://photos.app.goo.gl/fxqMiz93G47cRaBT9

OKAY I think I figured this out but the behavior is pretty strange the way it's working for me now is if I tap the bar and slide my finger somewhere and then tap the new spot a second time then the bar will jump there. Not the expected behavior but consistent and workable now that I see what its doing.

That is strange, but possibly helpful. It suggests it's recognising the touch start but only recognising the move and/or end with another touch. I'll keep experimenting, but will be hit and miss without an actual Surface to test with.

Surface 8. I’ll make a short recording.

Ok I did some more troubleshooting on this. There is defiantly a incompatibility on between action hud and TouchVTT that is manifesting on the surface 8. What I see is the hud can be moved, albeit with he weird drag then touch behavior, but if TouchVTT is enabled then the behavior gets really wonky and I can only spuradicaly move the hud, and weirdly can't move it upwards pretty much at all. Two vids showing the different behavior. I guess can I open a ticked with TouchVTT too. I thought better mobile might be the issue since it has it's own layer too but didn't seem to make a difference either way. https://photos.app.goo.gl/L9uQUpohMGrdCt3h7
